Bath County Public Schools will dismiss at 12:30 on Monday, April 8, 2024, due to the timing of the partial solar eclipse.
The National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) has a variety of free resources about safety considerations for the eclipse and how to safely view the eclipse as damage to the eyes is possible viewing the eclipse. Regular sunglasses, swimming goggles, and most camera filters are not safe for looking directly at the sun. BCPS will be sending home solar eclipse glasses for students on Monday, April 8.
Thank you

Principal Appreciation Week
Bath County Public Schools are very fortunate to have three dedicated principals. These individuals put students first and ensure a learning environment that is conducive to learning. They work far beyond the school day and go above and beyond. Thanks for all you do.

We are so proud of our staff who consistently go above and beyond. Our carpentry classes built a new roof structure and shingled the well building at the end of last school year. Yesterday, one of our dedicated teachers volunteered after school to start painting the building. Thank you for making our campus look better. TEAMWORK and DEDICATION
